Enrique Pieretto joins Provence in France

Earlier today Provence Rugby confirmed the arrival of Argentinian international player Enrique Pieretto as a medical joker, of the  He thus comes to compensate for the injury of Quentin Samaran, who will be absent for several months. 

Pieretto has 30 caps for the Pumas and arrives from the Waratahs where he was on loan from his former club Glasgow Warriors. Previously, the right prop had revealed himself within the Jaguares squad, with whom he reached the 2019 Super Rugby final. He then crossed the Atlantic Ocean to join Exeter where he arrived to fill the void left by… Tomas Francis, then injured in the shoulder.

The following season, the Cordoba native flew to Scotland and the Glasgow Warriors where he was elected, for his first season, Most Improved Player , the player who had progressed the most during the 2020/2021 PRO 14 season. 

Enrique Pieretto is therefore preparing to discover a 5th ^country , which shows a great capacity for adaptation. This will only be easier, here in Provence, since his compatriots Federico Wegrzyn and Nicolas Toth will welcome him, without a doubt, with open arms.
