England held to draw by USA as Portugal stun All Blacks

England reached the quarter finals of the Cathay Pacific-HSBC Hong Kong Sevens after qualifying second from Pool D following an entertaining 21-21 draw with USA.



With both sides having defeated Wales and Kenya ahead of the top-of-the-table clash, Perry Baker opened the scoring for the United States only for Jeff Williams to reply with a try of his own for England.



Maka Unufe put USA ahead once more with the first of his two tries but Tom Mitchell ran 70 metres to score for England to send the sides in level at 14-14 at half-time.
