Eddie Jones' summer plans up in the air
- 1451
England boss Eddie Jones has hit another stumbling block with the prospect of his side facing the USA and Canada now looking unlikely.
A small series against the North American sides – planned to take place in the UK this summer – was on the cards, however, the notion now looks problematic as the USA are due to face the Springboks ahead of the latter’s series against the British & Irish Lions. It was planned that the USA would then travel to England but the UK government is insisting that they observe a 10-day isolation period, which is proving to be a very unattractive option.
It is rumoured that Georgia are possible replacements for the USA.
