Bedford Blues have announced that winger Dean Adamson has signed a new deal to remain at Goldington Road for the 2018/19 Championship season.
The 25-year-old has racked up a superb 16 tries in the Championship alone this campaign as well as helping the Blues reach the semi-final of the British & Irish Cup with six tries.
Speaking about the re-signing, Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: "Dean has really had a stellar season so far and while his scoring prowess is visable for all to see, it’s his work on the front line in defence and as part of the back field pendulum that’s stood out for all us coaches.
"The thing is, Dean knows his game now and understands that he can get even better in the years ahead.
"It will be no surprise to know that Dean had a range of offers on the table from a host of clubs, but he is a Bedfordshire boy who loves the style of rugby that we play and knows that he’ll get to play in front of big home crowds."
Adamson joined Bedford at the beginning of the 2014/15 season after a successful period at Ampthill Rugby Club saw him notch up an impressive 22 tries making him the most prolific try-scorer in National Two South.
