The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies can confirm that Darcy Swain will depart the club at the end of the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific Season.
Swain recently informed Brumbies Staff and Players of his departure at season's end. The lock made the move from Queensland to the Capital to join the Brumbies Academy in 2016, before going on to captain the ACT Brumbies U20s in 2017.
In 2018, Swain made his Super Rugby debut against the Jaguares, before graduating into the 2019 ACT Brumbies Super Rugby squad a year later. Brumby #208 would be called up to the Wallabies squad, making his international debut in a 23-21 win over France in 2021 at Suncorp Stadium.
In his 9th season with the ACT Brumbies, the organisation would like to thank Darcy for his service and commitment to the club and he will remain an integral part of the club achieving success in 2024.
