Polific try scorer Cuthbert has put pen to paper on a new
contract to remain at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
The exciting back made his debut for Cardiff Blues in the 2011/12 season – scoring in his first league game against Benetton Treviso – and went on to cross the line 14 times in his first full campaign of regional rugby.
Head Coach Danny Wilson said: “Alex has played exceptionally well for Cardiff Blues since returning from the Rugby World Cup and we’re excited that he has now committed his future to us.
“Alex’s attitude has always been excellent in my time at the region and he’s a good professional and hard worker, both on and off the field, who always gives his all for the team," he concluded.
Cuthbert is currently undergoing rehabilitation after a successful knee surgery in Sweden and is scheduled to make his playing return in pre-season for Cardiff Blues.
