Currie Cup | Golden Lions send strong side to Durban

The Golden Lions are taking the Currie Cup very seriously after announcing a stong side to travel to Durban Friday afternoon.

A handfull of players that played in the URC was chosen in the match day 23.

Young Kade Wolhuter will start in the 10 jersey and try to cement his place in the team after Jordan Hendrikse departed to the Sharks. Nico Steyn will start at scrumhalf.

Hooker Jaco Visagie will be captain. Players that played in the URC will be Ruben Shoeman, Morgan Naude and Ruan Venter.

Former Cheetahs fullback Tapiwe Mafura is on the bench.
