Connacht bag away victory against Benetton

Connacht edged Benetton 21-17 away from home in the United Rugby Championship.

Connacht got off to the perfect start with a try just a minute in to lead 7-0.

Benetton got on the board with a penalty after eight minutes to trail 7-3.

Connacht ran in their second try around the midpoint of the first half to take a 14-3 lead into halftime.

Eight minutes into the second half, Benetton went over for their first try to close the gap to 14-10.

Connacht went down to 14 players after picking up a yellow card after 63 minutes and Benetton capitalized with a try with around ten minutes remaining to hit the front for the first time 17-14.

Benetton received a yellow card after 74 minutes and Connacht struck immediately with a try to regain the lead, which they would not relinquish.
