Former Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards has today been confirmed as France's new Defence Coach following months of speculation.
Edwards left his Wales role after over a decade following the 2019 World Cup and will now join Fabien Galthie's extensive team, working alongside team manager Raphael Ibanez.

He was part of one of Wales’ most successful coaching teams securing three Grand Slams and a Six Nations title in that time.
"I'm happy to join the France adventure alongside Fabien and Raphael," said Edwards.
"My goal is to maximize the speed of defence play. This method has already been successful in the past."
