Christophe Urios confirmed as Bordeaux's next coach

Union Bordeaux-Begles president Laurent Marti has announced that Castres head coach Christophe Urios will take over as the club's new head coach.

Urios led Castres to the Top 14 title last season despite finishing the regular season as the lowest ranked playoff side.

He will join Bordeaux ahead of the 2018/19 Top 14 season after the club parted ways with Rory Teague last week.

Urios confirmed that he would be leaving Castres earlier this season and has now signed a deal that will see him coach Bordeaux for the next 4 seasons.
