Cameron Neild commits to Sale Sharks

Sale Sharks have announced that Cameron Neild has signed a new four-year deal at the club.

“Cameron is a great young player, who has come through the academy and shone last season. We’re pleased he’s chosen to extend his deal at the club, and I have no doubt that he will continue to progress,” said Director of Rugby Steve Diamond.

Neild joined the Sharks academy set-up in 2013 straight from Manchester Grammar School. Having begun as a hooker, a switch to the back row marked another stage in Neild's development.

Last season, he made 23 appearances in the first team, and was named joint Young Player of the Season.
