With 2 years left on his deal at Bath, Sam Burgess, has announced he will return to Rugby League and join the Rabbitohs. He rejoins the side he left a year ago to follow his dream of playing for England in the World Cup.
Burgess has had a tough time in Union having been played at both flanker and in the midfield and many were uncertain as to where he was best suited. Both the Bath management and England management were at odds on what best suit the code-hopping superstar.
