Bulls v Sharks - Preview

Any slip-up by the Stormers in Johannesburg would allow the Vodacom Bulls or the Cell C Sharks to take over top spot in the South African Shield.

Both teams are on 16 points, with the Bulls beaten just once at Loftus Versfeld in five URC games, while the Sharks’ loss to the Stormers last Saturday ended a three-game unbeaten run.

The Sharks have suffered only two away defeats this season but they have not won in Pretoria since beating the Bulls 26-23 there in June 2011.

There have been three meetings since last year's Rainbow Cup - two of them in the Currie Cup - with Sharks winning two and the Bulls one.
