Bedford Blues add three more for 2019/20

Bedford Blues' building process for the 2019/20 season has kicked on with the signing of two new players and a try-scoring dynamo penning a brand new deal.
Heading to Goldington Road next season will be back-rower Dan Temm from Yorkshire Carnegie, Northampton Saints utility back Matt Worley who has been in fine form while on loan at Bedford this season, and staying for another campaign will be try-machine Dean Adamson who has put pen to paper on a new contract.
Temm, 27, originally made his name in English rugby after impressing with Otley.
When he left New Zealand he was a teenage cricketer looking to spend a summer playing in the Yorkshire leagues.
Six years later, he was playing full-time rugby with Newcastle Falcons, still scratching his head as to how he got there.
A stint with Ealing Trailfinders followed before a return up north with Carnegie where he’s played 24 games scoring 11 tries in the process.
Worley, 21, moved to Hong Kong at five years old and his rugby career took off from there.
Starting at scrum half, he has represented the country at Under-16s, Under-18s and Under-20s level before transitioning to full-back when he made the switch to France in 2015.
Featuring for Racing Espoirs as they claimed the Under-23s French league title, Worley proved himself on that stage and was soon drafted into the Racing 92 squad.
And after making his senior Racing debut in a friendly fixture against South African Super Rugby side the Sharks in February 2018, a return to the UK beckoned for Worley, and he linked up with Northampton ahead of the 2018/19 season.
With 77 tries from 107 appearances since swapping Dillingham Park for Goldington Road, Adamson, 25, has continued to make huge improvements in his all-round game and was named in last season’s Greene King IPA Championship Team of the Year.
Temm, Worley and Adamson join Oli Curry, Lewis Robling, James Lennon, Ryan Hutler, Rich Lane, Alex Penny and Sean McCarthy at Goldington Road next season.
