Bath Rugby is delighted to announce the signing of Dan Frost from Exeter Chiefs.
The explosive hooker has penned a two-year contract and will join the club this summer.
Frost began his career with his local club North Petherton RFC – during which time he was a member of the Bath Rugby Academy – also representing Taunton Titans and England U18s, before signing with Cornish Pirates in 2018.
Ahead of the 2021/22 season, Frost joined Wasps where he established himself as a regular under Lee Blackett, now attack coach at Bath.
The 27-year-old played 25 times for Wasps, scoring seven tries, before switching to Chiefs in 2022, since when he has gone on to make 48 appearances, scoring 17 tries.
On returning to his former club, Frost said: “I think it’s a really exciting time to be joining Bath and I’m hoping I can add my own strengths to the squad next season to help compete for trophies over the coming years. From a personal point, it’s exciting to be able to return to the club having gone through the academy, also to work with some great coaches who I previously worked with at Wasps. Whilst there is still a lot of rugby to be played at Chiefs, I’m excited for the challenge that awaits me at Bath Rugby and can’t wait to get stuck in.”
