Another South African to beef up Exeter pack

As a crisis at tighthead prop looms for Exeter, Rob Baxter set about finding a solution which has, according to The Rugby Paper, materialised in the form of Maks van Dyk, currently of Harlequins.
Van Dyk, born and raised in South Africa, joined Toulouse just prior to the 2016-17 Top 14 season. In South Africa, he represented a whole host of teams, including the Sharks, Cheetahs and Griquas.
He also enjoyed a stint in Ireland where he turned out for Leinster on a short term deal in 2014.
In August of this year, van Dyk signed with English club Harlequins for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, but will now pack his bags for Devon where preparations will be in full swing as the 2020-21 season commences in just over a fortnight.
