All Signs Point To A Decider In Cardiff

There is plenty to play for in the final two rounds of the 2019 Six Nations despite Wales failing to lose a single game and holding a two-point lead at the top of the table.

The competition has a bye this week but the action resumes in Edinburgh next with Scotland hosting Wales with England hosting Italy before the action is rounded off with France visiting the Aviva Stadium.

Scotland was found wanting in Paris in round three with Gregor Townsend's side struggling with depth following a number of injuries to key players including the likes of Finn Russell, Stuart Hogg, Hamish Watson and Huw Jones to name a few.

Although Finn Russell may be available for the clash against Wales and Scotland's impressive record Murrayfield in recent times it's difficult to see Wales failing to pick up the W. Italy put up a good fight against Ireland but it is highly unlikely that Italy will pick up their first ever victory over England at Twickenham.

Both France and Ireland have struggled to find their feet so far in the competition so far and the clash at Aviva Stadium will surely be the pick of the fixtures. Although France has improved significantly in a short period of time, Ireland should be too strong for Jacques Brunel's side.

Based on these assumptions, the final round of the Six Nations will see three sides still in the running for the 2019 Six Nations title. A much more open game at Murrayfield should see Wales all a full 5 points while England should do the same to Italy and Ireland claim at least 4 for a win over France.

Predicted Table after Round 4:

1. Wales - 17

2. England - 15

3. Ireland - 13

If this were to happen, the winner of the 2019 Six Nations could be decided in Cardiff on 16 March. Wales would need to beat Ireland to claim the title while anything less than that would open the door for England to snatch the title.
