A look at The Bulls vs Leinster

Over the last few years, the rivalry between South Africa and Ireland on the rugby field has grown immensely. Both nations have battled tirelessly for the number spot in the world rankings, which included a 1-1 ending to a 2 match test series that took place earlier this year. 

Although we may have to wait a while again before the two nations meet agai, the United Rugby Championship provides us with a fixture that is almost just as tantalising as the the test. Leinster Rugby, giants of of Irish rugby and the most adored adored team, will lock horns with The Bulls, the most decorated and successful rugby franchise on the African continent.

The two last met in the semi-final of last seasons URC's competition, in a fixture that saw the Bulls secure the win in Pretoria. The bulls would then go on to lose the final to the Glasgow Warriors. With round 3 upon us, Leinster will gear up for their third match of the season. The Bulls however have only recently joined the vrey after missing the first round of fixtures.
