"We’re all shattered." - Allan Alaalatoa

Allan Alaalatoa’s Brumbies were hoping to meet the Crusaders next weekend in the Trans-Tasman opening round with their tails up after a title-clinching game against the Reds, however, it was not to be.
The Reds were snatched the Super Rugby AU title away from the Brumbies in Brisbane as they ran out 19-16 winners.
The Brumbies looked as though they had the game in the bag at full-time with the score at 16-12 in their favour, however, with two men in the bin, they were required to put on a huge defensive effort which, in the end, wasn’t enough as James O’Connor crossed the try line.
“The boys were flying in everywhere; we’re all shattered, emptied the tank for 85 minutes,” the Brumbies prop said.
“Down to 13 men and holding them out for so long; it’s important that the boys get around each other tonight [Saturday] to enjoy, reflect.
“We’ll jump back on the horse and what a challenge we have, to verse the champs of Super Rugby Aotearoa, the team that’s been setting the standard in Super Rugby.”
