Scarlets put under immediate pressure at the scrum. Cooney tackles his opposite number and Ulster manage to turn the ball over. It goes through the hands on the right side and Baloucoune nearly makes the break. The ball comes the other way and the Scarlet defence rushes up.McCloskey finds some space behind the defence and puts in the chip. Faddes reacts fastest and dots over for the try.

A very good evening from Kingspan Stadium, Ulster play host to Scarlets. I am Usie and I have the pleasure of bringing you live play by play action tonight.

The Belfast-based side have not lost a Guinness PRO14 match in front of their own supporters in almost 14 months, with Connacht the last side to leave the Kingspan with the points in October 2018.

Home advantage is certainly important, especially in matches against the Scarlets – with the hosts winning the last six league meetings between the two.

To add to the feelgood factor at the Kingspan, full-back Louis Ludik is set for his 100th Ulster cap in the same fixture in which he made his debut five years ago.

For Scarlets, their squad has once again been stripped bare by international fixtures as Wales prepare to battle the Barbarians.

But with five wins from six in the league, things are sailing rather smoothly. They jet across the Irish Sea second in Conference B, just three points off Munster.
