The Boks got off on a strong foot with an early try from de Allende after a brilliant piece of play from Am. Minutes later and All Blacks came on to the board with a try from Reece. Boks maintained their dominance throughout the early stage. All Blacks scored two back-to-back tries to take a seven point lead at the break. The Springboks coached removed his entire front row minutes before half time was called.
