Both teams winless so far this campaign, and both will have identified this match as their most likely chance of victory. Scotland come into the one off the back of two tight defeats against Wales and France. Against Wales especially the side showed some exciting running rugby with the likes of Stuart Hogg at fullback looking particularly menacing with ball in hand. Vern Cotter has turned this Scotland side into a real counter attacking threat, and at home they will definitely look to put on a show. The Italians on the other hand have had two losses by big margins, against England especially. While they are ever improving, their defence still looks streaky at best, and showed against England that if they concede early they tend to let in a big score.
