Play just outside Clermont 22 with scrappy ball at the ruck. James with a poor left-footed kick downfield which Goode looks to run back. Strettle shepharded into touch but it's been knocked on by a Clermont hand and it'll be a Sarries scrum
Underway here as Goode grabs the restart and straight away its big Billy Vunipola on the carry. De Kock with the clearing box kick
Go sarries!!!!
Come on clermont! Do a bit of justice for ulster!
Minutes from KO here at Twickenham
Hello and welcome along to this, our first Heineken Cup semi-final of the weekend, as Saracens face off against Clermont at Twickenham. Having lost four of their last six games against French opposition, including two Heineken knockout clashes in the past two years, Sarries record against their Top 14 rivals does not make for pretty reading for Saracens fans. Neither will the serious issues around the fitness of Owen Farrell. The England 10 still starts but we're expecting Alex Goode to take over kicking duties, with a real question mark over whether Farrell will last the entire 80. For Clermont, their away form has been poor at best on the domestic front, having not won away since back in November. Having said that, Clermont often reach the peak of their powers in the European game, winning 5 out of 6 on the road in the Heineken, but will desperately miss the presence of club captain Aurelien Rougerie in midfield. Massive 80 minutes of physicality and intensity ahead. Stay with us for live coverage and commentary throughout. Any predictions folks?
Great to receive support from fellow English fans....come on you sarries!!
Allez Clermont
Allez ASM!
cmon you sarries
