The Cheetahs take a 24-16 lead over the Pumas into the halftime break. The Pumas started strongly and built up a 13-3 lead before the Cheetahs ran in three tries in the final ten minutes of the half to find themselves up by eight. The Pumas must win this match if they are to stand any chance of making the semi-finals, while the Cheetahs are looking to all but wrap up that fourth spot in the standings.
