Good evening everyone and welcome to what could be the biggest game of the opening weekend of the Heineken Cup. 3 time winners Leinster travel to Wales to take on their rivals Ospreys. Ospreys have lost just 1 game at home in the last 23 matches and with their impressive form in the Rabo to date this season currently lying in 3rd position will have all the preparations made as they enter the field this evening. Leinster have a difficult challenge in front of them. 4 European Cup wins in the last 5 years 3 Heineken and 1 Amlin they have quite a reputation among the European teams. With a new head Coach Matt O'Connor they will look to get their campaign off to a good start with an away win here in Wales. Gopperth making his Heineken Cup Debut today in place of Ian Madigan while Lion Jamie Heaslip captains the side. Agreed I hope Leinster can pull this one out.
Harsh on Madigan. He didn't gave the best fame last week but Osoreys is the perfect game for him. Space aplenty
No Madigan v disappointed. Gosperth is a weak tackler and goes missing in tight games e.g. The Glasgow game and 2nd half against Ospreys in Pro12. Will be relieved if Lensta pick up a losing BP. Jury v much still out on MOC. Defo he is no Schmidty or Cheiks.
Ospreys are scoring tries for fun lately and leinster a defence is far from solid. Could be a tough day
