If the clubs ranked 1 and 4 win their QFs, the club ranked 1 will have home country

If the clubs ranked 1 and 5 win their QFs, the club ranked 5 will have home country advantage

If the clubs ranked 8 and 4 win their QFs, the club ranked 8 will have home country advantage

If the clubs ranked 8 and 5 win their QFs, the club ranked 5 will have home country advantage

If the clubs ranked 3 and 2 win their QFs, the club ranked 2 will have home country advantage

If the clubs ranked 3 and 7 win their QFs, the club ranked 7 will have home country advantage

If the clubs ranked 6 and 2 win their QFs, the club ranked 6 will have home country advantage

If the clubs ranked 6 and 7 win their QFs, the club ranked 6 will have home country advantage.

Hi Sean. Answer: No. Teams are ranked 1-8. Teams ranked 1 and 2 have a good chance of a home Semi final. However, if at the semi final stage they are facing an opponent that won an away quarter final, that opponent has home advantage. If teams ranked 1 or 2 face teams ranked 3 or 4 at the semi final stage, teams ranked 1 or 2 have the home advantage. Teams ranked 3 and 4 at the quarter final stage will not have Home advantage at the semi final stage regardless of any outcome.

Does top ranking definitely guarantee home SF ( after we win Home QF)? I have read different opinions in various articles. IT today fir instance

Random pre-match fact: 19 of the Leinster 23 came through the Leinster academy of system (only JGP, Lowe, Nacewa, and Henshaw didn’t). Only 5 if the Montpellier 23 came through at Montpellier (Galletier, Picamoles, Haouas, Delannoy, and Ouedraogo). Leinster doing well just to compete with these billionaire-backed mercenary-full teams, let alone be qualified with a round to go!
