The Lions take a 15-10 lead over the Bulls into halftime. The sides traded early penalties before the Bulls went over for the games first try to lead 10-3 after 14 minutes. The Lions hit back with their first try to reduce the deficit to just two points at 10-8 after 25 minutes of play. The Lions would finish the half with a try just before the break to see them up by five at halftime.
