Edinburgh win their own lineout but concede a penalty shortly after with Sean O'Brien making a difference already to this Leinster team rooking for the ball with the referee awarding a penalty with Hart failing to release the ball.
Strauss is not able to continue through injury and Cronin comes on to take his place.

Leinster take the lead with Jordi Murphy going over for the first try of the game. So patient build up play from Leinster led to the ball being passed outwide to Dave Kearney who jinked his way 5 meters short of the line. The ball was eventually recycled to Murphy who slipped past the tackle of Denton to go over for the opening try. Gopperth fails to add the extras and Leinster lead 5-3.
