Reddish looked to have gotten the last say before the break. But an error off the restart handed West the chance to increase the gap on the buzzer. The under dogs definitely got the better start with 2 tries in the 1st quarter. But it was only a matter of time before the Lions got into the game. They did so on 24 minutes through a very powerful scrum and some clever footwork form Vito. Superb scrum from Wellington. 5m out they dig deep to power towards the Magpies line. Great control from Vito at the back allowed him to keep the ball at the back as his pack marched towards the line before he could simply pick and fall over the line.

Replays showed Leiua was justified in his protests, he was clearly in the field of play.
