Theres only one team in london COYQ
Well what a game this turned out to be after a really exciting second half with lots of end to end rugby and it all came down to an incredibly well finished try from Sam Smith in the dying minutes which left only one point between the sides at the death. Importantly Quins will regain their spot in the top four of the Aviva Premiership table after their win here at the Stoop. Wasps looked like they had the game in the bag as their last minute defence in the game again in the second half was superb and it just looked like there was no way through for the home side. Haskell was immense throughout the game with great carries in the loose and some great work at the breakdown. Joe Carlisle showed he certainly had what it takes as the young man really stepped up to the plate after a late withdrawal from the side by Andy Goode. Carlisle kicked well both from the tee and out of hand and opened up the harlequins defense with well timed attacks using the dry conditions to spread the ball wide. However it was that hit by man of the match Fa'asavalu that really swung the momentum in Quins favour as the crowd got behind them for the last half hour. Dickson as well had a great second half as he picked up the pace of the game and put Quins in all the right spots on the pitch with his good positional kicking and sniping and Luke Wallace was also a great impact off the bench. Wasps will feel hard done by as they controlled possession and territory pretty well however its the might Quins that come out on top. Well a big thank you from everyone here at Ultimate Rugby for joining us here for what turned out to be a great game. Bye for now!!
Wasps in possession on the halfway but they knock it on and Quins can clear the ball. Ref blows the full time whistle!
Just before the there was a really dangerous tackle by one of the Wasps players which would have been a red card if it had been seen. That's one for the sighting commissioner now however.
Well Bottica slips and can't convert the try from the touchline.
And it is a try!!! An unbelievable effort from Sam Smith to score that try. Quins in the lead for the first time! Only 90 seconds to go. What a game!
Quins spread it wide and Sam smith gets tackled but he bends his body into a really awkward position to try and get the ball down. The Ref will go to the TMO Sean David to see if he's grounded the ball.
Dickson takes a quick tap though and play is back in the Wasps 22 and they're only a metre out.
Quins get a really good Maul going and they spread it wide but they knock it on and Wasps can clear the ball.
Quins in possession inside the Wasps half and they've been awarded the penalty for hands in the ruck from Haskell. Bottica sends it into the Wasps 22 now.
