Gloucester take a 17-10 lead over Ulster into halftime. A try apiece saw the sides level at 7-7 after ten minutes of play. Gloucester edged ahead with a penalty around the midpoint of the half. 25 minutes in Ulster picked up a yellow card and it went from bad to worse for the visitors as a penalty try followed a minute later, with a second yellow reducing Ulster to 13 players and trailing 17-7.
