The hooter sounds and the sides head into the tunnel for the half time break. The home side got away fast scoring two early tries which rocked the visitors who were starved of the ball early on in the game. Province's defense was also not at its best in that half , as they were cut apart by the hard running by the Cheetahs. Province did start getting into a rhythm late on in the half which saw them claw their way back to within ten points but, there is plenty left to do for both sides come the second half
