Connacht claimed a 26-15 home win over the Ospreys in round 14 of the Pro 14. Connacht opened the scoring with an early penalty, but the Ospreys responded with the games first try to lead 5-3. A penalty saw Connacht edge ahead before they crossed for their first try with the final play of the first half to take a 13-5 lead into the break. An early second half penalty saw Connacht extend their lead before the Ospreys pulled three points back with just under a quarter of the match remaining. Connacht then ran in their second try to take control of the match at 23-8. The Ospreys had to score next and hit back almost immediately with a try to reduce the deficit back to just eight points with a little under ten minutes to play. However, Connacht would have the final say, with a late penalty sealing the victory.
