Clermont take a commanding 25-7 lead over Harlequins into halftime. Clermont opened the scoring with an early penalty and then ran in three superb tries to storm into a 22-0 lead. Harlequins got on the board with their first try, but Clermont would have the final say of the half with a penalty to draw the opening forty to a close.
