It’s the big one as Canterbury hosts Tasman in the Premiership final of the Mitre 10 Cup.
Canterbury had a brilliant regular season, winning eight of ten matches to top the Premiership standings. They secured a 22-7 win over Counties Manukau in the semi-final to set up a home final.
Tasman recorded seven wins and a draw from their ten games to finish in third position in the Premiership standings. They travelled to Taranaki in the semi-final and ran out impressive 41-29 winners to reach the final.
When these sides met in week 2, Canterbury ran out emphatic 45-14 winners.
One should expect a much tighter encounter this time around in what should be a cracking Premiership final.
