Burton strikes it well but, sends it wide of the posts.

The Bulls set themselves a solid platform with a strong scrum but, get penalized as the Marcel van der Merwe is penalized for standing up in the scrum. Luke Burton now with a kick at goal to extend the Force lead.

A frenetic passage of play comes to an end , with both teams giving it a good go at trying to breach each others defense. Ebersohn in the end has an attempt at a drop goal but, it was a rather wobbly kick that really never got near the intended target.

The Bulls are awarded a penalty in a very kickable position and Pollard cuts the Force's lead with a well taken kick at goal.

The Force with the first try of the game through Adam Coleman who timed his run well to hit the gap allowing him an untouched run to score the five pointer. Burton adds the extras and the Force are in the lead.

The Force being penalized again in quick succession , and need to be careful not to allow ill discipline to ruin their game. Pollard sets himself from about 55m and makes no mistake. Bulls take the lead.

Penalty to the Bulls as the Force players played the Bulls jumper in the air during the line out. Pollard sends play back up to about half way with the ensuing kick.

The Force with some momentum now , taking a quick tap after being awarded a penalty but the ball goes out via a miss communicated pass from Ebersohn.

The Bulls getting their rolling maul going but , the Bulls pack penalized for obstruction as the ball carrier detached from the original maul.

Solid first scrum by the Bulls who manage to move the Force pack backwards and winning the penalty as the Force pack gave in. Pollard takes play all the into the Force 22 with a well placed touch finder from the penalty
