The Bulls take a 19-15 lead over the Stormers into halftime. The Bulls got off to the perfect start with a try just a minute in and they added two penalties to open up a 13-0 lead. The Stormers hit back with a try to get on the board, but the Bulls kept the scoreboard ticking over, slotting two penalties to lead 19-5. The Bulls then picked up a yellow card around the half hour mark and the Stormers capitalized immediately with a score and they added a penalty with the final play of the half to trail by just four points at the break.
