The Lions take a 21-14 lead over the Bulls into halftime. The Bulls opened the scoring with an early penalty before the Lions ran in two tries in quick succession for a 14-3 lead. The Bulls chipped away with two penalties making it 14-9, but the Lions crossed for their third try to make it a 12 point ball game. The Bulls hit back almost immediately with their first try to trail by seven points at the break.
