Replacement scrum-half Jaano Vermaark shows great pace to break the cover and score the bonus point clinching try in the corner.
To be honest, over the last few weeks, the refs have been utterly shocking. Eg. Chiefs vs rebels, the chiefs had a try denied by TMO for no reason and another given against them when it was a forward pass. Another would be the sharks two weeks ago when they had a yellow card in the first few min. The stormers got fined for abusing the ref and in all fairness, the ref gave the game to the other team by being so blatantly bias. The same thing happened yesterday against the rebels with a shocking TMO decision again. The kings too have been disgustingly lucky with decisions this season. It's as if they get every decision to go their way. Refs across the board need to be fined for shocking decisions. How can a TMO get things wrong? That just cannot happen!
Tanaka scampers over for a try that reflects the possession and territory enjoyed by the Highlanders.
Two yellows? I didn't see, what happened?
Very little fluidity in either attack, perhaps the number of substitutions has had impact. The Bulls still one try short of a bonus point and would be very disappointed if they do not get it.
Chris King becomes the second Highlander to receive a yellow card after deliberately trying to bring down a maul.
Bulls for life!
I agree with John. Refs should be reviewed after each game and the neccessary action then taken according to the refs performance.
Things go from bad to worse for the Highlanders as Maretino Nemani is sin binned for a dangerous high tackle.
The Bulls turn down a shot at the post and instead opt for the corner. Powerful forward play from the resultant line-out leads to captain Spies touching down on his 100th Super Rugby test.
