Good evening and welcome to this, the first game of the new French Top 14 season. What better way to kick off the season then seeing how Toulon go about the defence of half of their historic double following their French and European success last year. Bayonne play host tonight and will not be in it just to accommodate the visiting superstars. Although they will not have the same lofty expectations of Toulon, Bayonne will put massive emphasis on all of their home fixtures, regardless of opposition as they strive to maintain their Top 14 status.
