The penalty goes to Saracens from the ensuing lineout, and they kick to touch on their 10m line.
Good work by Paul James takes play deep into Saracens' 22, but Bath are driven into touch.
Stringer is off after a heavy collision, to be replaced by Micky Young.
Jacques Burger, physical as ever... Perhaps too physical as he concedes a penalty against Peter Stringer, Bath kick to touch
We are back up and running here at the Rec
Half time at the Rec and its the visitors who lead by 17 points to 3. You could argue that its an unfair reflection of how close this game has actually been. For the first 20 minutes Bath were just about edging the possession and territory stats but after this point the tables slowly turned. Two clinical phases of play saw Sarries run in 2 unanswered trys, both converted by Goode, which saw their lead stretch to 14. It has been a very entertaining game thus far and hopefully the second 40 brings more excitement. Stay tuned!
Stop the bloody handling errors bath
TRY SARACENS. A fumble by Bath after a turnover results in a kick through and try for Saracens, scored by David Strettle. A superb opportunistic score by the visitors and its exactly what they would have wanted just before the half time whistle
Playing well and hope we run it in the 2nd half
Bath are piling in to make precious yards in the Sarries 22.
