Freeman has captained Loughborough Students in National One for the 213-2015 seasons and graduated in the summer of 2015 with a degree in Sports Science and Management.
He played for England under 18s before signing for Worcester prior to his three year stint with Loughborough.
In April 2015, Freeman signed a professional contract with Championship side Jersey Reds.
Freeman was signed by Exeter Chiefs on a two-year deal for the 2017/18 season.
